WordPress can be used as a basic or advanced Content Management System (CMS) depending on how you set it up. In one particular case I setup Ron Christman Stone Masonry using WordPress. Read on to see what plugins I installed and to view a brief guide on how to edit a WordPress powered website.
To create a CMS site. I installed these plugins:
Once this was done I edited the home page template (index.php) to be a custom splash page. In the WordPress Admin screen this is found under “Appearance” “Editor”. The results are shown below.
Once this was completed, I created a guide for my client to help them edit the site.
