Yesterday I went to a Philadelphia entrepreneurs event where I met some people who have developed online web applications. Here are a few interesting ones.
- Acruw – Manage your rewards points for flights & credit cards.
- TicketLeap – Sell tickets online
- VuzIt – Online document viewer
Each of these entrepreneurs had interesting stories about how they got started and how they are doing now. One is completely bootstrapped and has developed the application for under $500. Another has significant funding and another a smaller amount of funding. Regardless of their level of financing or success they are all living their dream of developing and running a web application and are all fans of other existing applications.
