Time and time again I run into people who have lost vital information or never got vital information they needed. In this case minding your P’s and Q’s stands for Passwords and Questions. Always make sure you have your passwords memorized or stored in a secure location where they can be accessed in your absence. Also ask questions of your vendors and make sure if they are setting up passwords for you that they give you those passwords.
All relationships should last forever, but unfortunately there are realities in business and life that can change things. As a result you want to have answers to vital questions and passwords to make sure your digital world can change with your physical world. So next time you meet with your web designer, employees, IT consultant, or accountant ask the question “Are there any passwords I should know?

Excellent advice, Jason! I know there are some freeware/shareware and commercial password-managment apps out there. Any particular ones that you would recommend for a Mac user?
